May 20th Leech Lake Report

High skies, light and variable winds today make for some tough walleye fishing again. We did manage to find small pockets of active fish with jigs and minnows in 11-16 feet of water. Today the better jig color was Parrot tipped with a silver shiner. Water temperatures are now at the 64 degree mark. The wind and cloud cover is suppose to show up tomorrow and we are heading to Winnie. CHeck back tomorrow for the latest on Winnie.
