From one night to the next the bite has been on and then off and one night we find them shallow, the next they are in 10-15 fow. The one consistency we have seen is the baits and speed. We have found the GMO color in the #12 Salmo Sting to be best pulled at 2.2 MPH with 60-90 feet of line.
Looks like a major cold front will push into us today and tomorrow, this might cuase some difficulties or make the fish go crazy.
Crappie action remains very good on the outer edge of those weedlines. If your not fiding much luck in those typical area, keep moving and checking points or corners close to shore with deep water near by, I have found this to help in our catch.
